This served as Wright's private residence and studio during the first 20 years of his career. Wright used his home as an architectural laboratory, trying out design concepts before sharing them with clients. The site has been restored to appear as it did in 1909, the last year Wright lived and worked here. Spend some time indoors, then tour the 25 Wright buildings in the surrounding Oak Park neighborhood.
